I know it's Sunday and today is a do nothing day, but I needed to get a short, but sweet post in on my awesome smoothie from yesterday. For all those out there needing some new year 'getting your greens in' motivation, here's a sure winner of getting them in, without noticing! Plus, it's ninja turtle green, so who wouldn't love it?!
Going (Ninja Turtle) Green Smoothie!
- 1.25 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 tsp flax oil
- 1 tsp spirulina powder
- 3 swiss chard stalks, de-stemmed
- 1 cup caribbean frozen fruit (strawberries, peaches and mangoes)
Put everything (in that order) into a high-speed blender and blend on high for at least 30 seconds until all is mixed well!
